Lickey WI Members enjoy a varied programme of activities throughout the year:
Each month a speaker or activity is arranged at the Trinity Centre/Parish Hall, with the exception of January when a New Year Lunch Meeting is held. Details are given on the Programme page.
Lickey Members take part in Group and Federation activities and events:
Nine Members of Lickey WI joined other Members of the Bromsgrove & Hillside Group WIs for a delightful Christmas Celebration at Christ Church, Catshill on 8 December 2023. A programme of readings and Carols was organised by Catshill WI and the service was followed by tea or coffee and mince pies.


A dedicated team from Lickey WI turned out on a very wet November night to play their first match in the Worcestershire Federation County Skittles Tournament from 2022-23.

Lickey WI served cakes and promoted WI at the Holy Trinity Church Christmas Fair on 3rd December 2022:
Members of Lickey WI supported the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee at Holy Trinity Church serving cakes alongside the church tea and coffee stall on the weekend of 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th June 2022:
Displays from other local community groups are viewable in the church and more information about each group will be available. Lickey Members will again be serving cakes at the Christmas Fair at Holy Trinity Church on Saturday 3 December.
Five Lickey WI Members attended a Chutney Workshop in October 2021 with Members of other WIs. The workshop was led by a Worcestershire Federation Judge. Everyone enjoyed producing different chutneys and learnt a lot of useful tips.
WI’s within the Bromsgrove & Hillside Group normally organise twice-yearly meetings which allow Members to meet with other WI’s to discuss Group matters and a speaker or entertainment is arranged.
Several Lickey Members attended the Bromsgrove & Hillside Group Autumn Meeting when local BBC Midlands Today presenter Joanne Malin gave an excellent talk about her life and career.
Lickey WI hosted the 2018 Spring Group Meeting on Tuesday 27 March at the Trinity Centre. The speaker for the evening was Louise Brooks, Denman College Tutor and owner of “Hats from the Hall”.
Lickey WI members are invited to events held by other WI’s in the Group, such as a Coffee Morning held by Blackwell and Burcot WI:

Outings to places of interest are organised, with partners and other local WI members welcome.

A group of members have formed a Book Club – see which books they have been reading and what they thought of them on the Book Club page.
A Dining Club was initiated in 2015 with 22 people requesting a place at the first outing – find out where they have recently been/are going next on the Dining Club page.
